Gourmet Oatmeal
Ingredients
Ingredients:
1 banana
1/2 cup quick oats
1 cup liquid (water or plant milk)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch himalayan salt
Toppings:
1 medjool date, chopped
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp chopped pecans
1 tsp maple syrup
sprinkle shredded unsweetened oatmeal
Step 1
Cut banana in half lengthways and add to a nonstick pan on medium heat.
Step 2
Cook the banana on each side until brown and caramelized.
Step 3
Meanwhile, add the oats, liquid, cinnamon, and alt to a pot. Cook through.
Step 4
Once the oatmeal is cooked, add to a bowl and then top with the caramelized banana and the remaining toppings.
